Well except being a Great Event by itself, Gig in the Sky has very interesting equipment and technical specification details. I will try to collect as many information I can from around the web, but be my guest if you know something about the technical and equipment details, the BOEING 757 modifications etc.
Meanwhile here are some pictures from the plane before takeoff (everything secured – you cannot have drums and guitars loose on board ) and after take off when the plane was stable
